New Railway Line In Haryana : Good news is coming for the people of Haryana. It is noteworthy that the central government has approved the laying of a new railway line between Delhi and Ambala. The length of this new railway track is 194 kilometres.

This will directly benefit several districts in the state. For your information, the estimated cost of this project is ₹5,983 crore. This new railway line is being described as important for everyone, from the military to ordinary passengers.

Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw has stated that the Modi Cabinet has approved this project. This initiative is strategically significant from Delhi to Jammu. In Haryana, this line will pass through Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat, and Sonipat. Facilities will be enhanced at the 32 railway stations along this route.

The target is to complete this project within four years. Large-scale land acquisition will not be necessary for this project. A considerable amount of railway land, along with the existing railway line, will be used for it.

29 bridges will be constructed
Under this Delhi-Ambala railway project, one main bridge and 28 other bridges will be constructed. Additionally, the reconstruction of old bridges along the route will also be required.

Connectivity will increase to these states
After the completion of this project, connectivity from Delhi to Punjab and onwards to Jammu will improve. This multi-tracking will facilitate railway traffic and reduce congestion.
